I am raising funds for my friend Ahmed and his family in Gaza.

Their home in North Gaza was destroyed. For months they lived in squalor in a tent in Rafah, and have finally returned home to the North despite the destruction. But food, water, and safety are very scarce right now.

We are seeking funds for: basic supplies transportation costs funds to cover evacuation to Egypt ($5,000 per person)

The family consists of 6 people; the parents Neveen and Sami, sisters Lana and Mari, and Ahmed and his younger brother Ali, who is only 8 years old. They have lost not only their father’s income, but their education, and their hope in the future.

Please help my friend’s family survive, and, god-willing, evacuate to build a better life for themselves.

Hi everyone!

First of all, I want to thank you for your support so far. Because of you, the family has been able to meet their basic needs.

Unfortunately, the blockade on food and medicine continues, and every day food prices continue to rise as demand increases and supply dwindles. In addition, the bombings have intensified, and there has been a ground invasion.

Now more than ever, your support is critical.

And with the holiday of Eid al-Adha approaching, the family would really like to try and celebrate despite the difficult circumstances. Ali, the youngest boy, who I have attached some photos of (before and during the war), says that the holiday is usually accompanied by a big meal and new clothes. But the family is surviving on only flour, and has been wearing the same clothes for months.

With your help, we can support the family in their goal of buying a new shirt and shoes for Ali, and creating a meal out of ingredients more substantial than flour.

Despite everything, the family has their hopes held high, and continue to pray for an end to the war, the crossing to open, and a return to normalcy.

Please donate to the campaign, and share it with others/on social media, so that we can help the family experience an Eid that doesn’t feel so difficult.

Thank you again for your support, and God bless you.
